Default crappies are still biting in new york

sunday night my friend and i went fishing at a local resavoir for crappie or whatever would bite. We ended up catching 41 crappie between the two of us in about 2 hours. our bigest ones were about a foot long and most were around 9-10 inches. we were using Kalin' s 2" triple treat grubs in blue n' silver at a slow retrieve with 1/16th ounce yellow jigheads. we were only in 6 feet of water and weeds were halfway to the surface. we started around 730 and fished untill 930 when my kalins started to fall apart (they will do that after 21 fish). I just wanted to let people know what works incase anyone else wants to give it a shot. The kalins work every time i fish with them and pickerel, bluegills, perch, and small mouth bass love them too. I was using a 5' rod with 4 pound test stren.
