I think it doesn't weigh the fish right.
Like I think my 2 1/2 lb bass was really heaver.

So what do yall use?

I've tried 2 different models..I didn't like either of them..I use this one..cost 9.98 at Walmart..I've calibrated it many times[ Meaning checked it out with accurate solid weights] ..it's right on..

Here's how I calibrate it...little sneaky..but here goes..
A, Carefully take scale out of package.OR pay for it first ..but stay in the store..
B. Go to the produce section and get a couple of plastic bags..
C. Go to the lifting weight section of the store.
put different sized weights in the plastic bag and weigh..
EXAMPLE...1 pound weight... 2pound..5 pound ..10 pound..
IF your not happy with the results..Go to customer service and return your scale..We used to sell ALOT of stuff on Ebay and have a post office scale..This Rapala mechanical is right to the ounce..I've had the Berkley and Rapala digital and I was not happy with mine..I tried 3 different Berleys out in the store and all 3 were way off...some more then 2 pounds..The Rapala flat out would only work 50 % of the time..It wouldn't come on..

you will love it Aaron..my best scale yet..I did make one adjustment on it..I didn't like the pointy black thing that points to the weight..hard to see..so I painted with a toothpick a little tiny white dot..so I could see my numbers..LOL

The numbers are a little too small for a good camera shot..I tried last year..
A scale is very good..I had some fish my son and I were shocked both ways..some.."I can't beleive it wieghs that much!" and then some..WOW ..that's it..] -: "I thought for sure it would go much bigger." Bass always look bigger exploding throuygh the water with thiose big red gills flashing..then on the scales the bodies seem to get slimmer..LOL

This is what I use right now, you can see why I want another one lol
When I was weighing my bass the other day.
After looking at this, I might have been looking at the KG instead of lbs.
