Default FLW Champlain tournament

The FLW Champlain tournament starts tomorrow. I plan to go to the first day weigh in. Anyone else going?

It was a mixed bag with both brown and green. Leader after day 1 was 22 pounds 2 oz. A 15 pound sack wasn't even in the top 50. Almost everyone including back seaters had limits. I listened to one pro say he had his in the first 15 minutes. I just watched the boats going north scream by my dock. Plattsburg is several miles away and when they launch you can hear them all the way up here. Sounds like a low pitched bunch of bees. Pretty nice day and calm so many of them probably went south to Ti for the big green ones. FLW is OK but the Bass tour has most of the popular pro's. David Frits and Scott Martin each had a 19 pound + bag and were in the top 10. I might try to catch the final weigh in on Sunday.

That sounds like fun C.I., I have a friend I work with that just went on a two day tourney this morning after working all night. They will be fishing two different lakes, one today and then the next one tomorrow..

Big winds today out of the south. The FLW is down to top 10 with co-anglers for day 3. Most boats went right by my dock in close getting out of the wind about 20 minutes after launch headed north. That big south wind will eliminate most of the 70 mile runs to the Ti area of the south lake where most of the largemouth bites are located. They are earning their prize money today. Good 4' waves are rocking them.
