Default Stanley Ribbit and Scumfrog Big Foot

I've heard great things about these two lures, the ribbits in particular, soI picked up some Stanley Ribbit'sand a Scumfrog Bigfoot.

Do any of you have any experience with these two lures?

If so, how do you prefer to fish them?

Are there any tips or techniques that allow these lures to really shine?

What colors are preferred?

Thanks in advance for any help given!

Oh yeah, I was planning on fishing these during the dark hours of the day. The other day i got out of the water when it was dark, but before i got out of the water,I had two complete misses on the Horny Toad, approximately 2 feet behind it. I'm hoping that these two frogs might deliver a little bit better in the dark hours because they make more of a ruckus and the fish should be able to find them better. What are your thoughts?

I find if I don't hook ole Horny dead center,,it swims better..I also find if I stand up in the boat..use a 7 foot rod I can control the ole toad better and not have to retrieve so fast..
HOwever; today since I brought a guest..I used a 6 1/2 foot spinning rod.medium heavy..

Example...on the bullfrog ....the color that is down is brown and the green is up..I start my hook point about 1/8 of an inch down toward the water inch in the brown....seems to lay better..and not spin..when I hook it dead center it seems to want to spin..and you won't get any bites like that.

lonnie builds some of the best baits out there, i would also recommend a jiglet, great little bait, a real fish catcher, lonnie is a great guy, i truley believe he has your best intrest as far as catching fish as his foremost concern, if your ever over in hunnington look him up, or his shop, him or mike dyes are great guys, and they know what makes a bass eat

listen to either one of these guys, they won't steer you wrong, but will put you on fish
