no problem, if you need or want to learn a bunch about spots i can hook you up (e-mail addresses, and websites, andphone #'s) with three guys that know about spots, in fact the make their living chaising them, ryan coleman, mike bucca, and donnie simms, i know ryan and mike, and have fished against donnie, these guys know the deal on the magnum spots, for me this time of year i'd be out towards the river from jr's fishing humps with small bright colored baitsthere are some old house foundations on the west side of the river in that area that useally hold some good spots, current will help[&:], the wife had one on, looked 5+,and we caught several 3-4 er's in that area, remember if you catch one there should be a bunch there... good luck and wear'em out

I have caught one good spot this year over towards yellow creek throwing a rat l trap . It weighted 4.4lbs I usually have success on shallow channel ledges where crappie stay, but the spots like it there too for some reason. I guess its the shad they are everywhere right now if you go to Weiss Lake get a map look for Driftwood Campground and right in front of the boat launch there is a broken down dock thats my secret spot ,buddy. I caught over 30 ,one was over 4lbs on berkley power minnows. There are ones even bigger in there. I just caught all of them yesterday .
