According to the hype..they are the best out there..but I do agree..they are very thin. When ever I cut my Power Pro off of the eye... they bend very easy..I have about 25..But I also have about 50 Mustad..After trying both..I'm a Mustad man..The Mustad hooks I use for worms can no longer be bought at Walmart..so I stocked up on them when a local tackle shop closed down.
They are stronger.

I prefer the Owner Twistlock Spring on Shanks and the Mustads hooks. Have never had either bend on me. The Owner Twistlock SOS's are fantastic for holding frogs, lizards, and flukes on the hook. I have yet to have a an artifical bait slide down the hook when using the Owner Twistlocks. However, they are expensive, and I only use them when going for Big bass. If Im just out fishing to put something in the boatit's Mustads all the way!

Thats the first time I ever heard anybody say that JR, I never ahd one bend on me but I ahve heard horror stories. I prefer Owners over any of them, but a big Gamakatsu is plenty fine, never ahd one bend and they are sharp as all get out. I never really fished with Mustads though.
