Honestly,
Depends on how it feels to you and if your a pull set fishermen or quick set fisherman..I have 2 I'd like to get rid of..They are both 7 foot Lightning Rods..Medium heavy in like new condition..My son and I have switched to medium Ugly Stick 7 foot for all bass fishing..The Lightning rods were 40.00 each..They are one piece..I'd sell them for 25.00 each..if you lived near by.They are TOO stiff for me.I've caught about 20 bass off that rod..

If you can find them..Walmart has a 7 foot Medium Heavy.Team Diawa for 50.00 ..I'd get that one if I were you..The tip has a slightly faster action than the Lightning Rod..And the medium heavy Finwicks are even faster.yet.for about 80.00 ..my affordable favorite

I already have a medium heavy ambassadour rod and reel , I need a heavy action rod for flipping in thick weeds, trees, and docks.
