Default flatheads??

Any noodlers visit this site?? I' m from Central Oklahoma and I don' t think there' s a better way of getting ahold of a big flathead. I' m currently in the Marine Corps and when I talk about noodling everyone looks at me like I' m crazy. Just wanted to see if there was any of yall out there.

I thought a Flathead was a South Dakota Indian tribe.[] OK, what' s noodling? Is that where you go in the water and catch them with your hands by letting them bite your darn fingers off and break your arm if it happens to be one of those 50 pounders? If that' s noodling.... you are crazy.[]

yeah it' s catching them with your hands. it' s not as bad as it sounds. they only get aggresive during spawning. it' s a good time. you should try it out with someone.

Go for it. It' s a blast especially if you have a couple of guys that are pretty good at it. I guarantee you' ll have a blast and probably get ahold of some big fish.

buck i, where did you guys go?? We usuall hit the Cimmaron and Deep Fork rivers. We got ahold of some big ones last year. I was home for about a week and on one trip we got 1 that went 73lbs and one that went 68lbs. I think all in all that week we got about 40 fish or so. It' s a blast.
