Default New Pond-4/17/09

So I checked out a new pond today. Its called Foster Lake and its also right near my school. This place is used by the University and the town of Alfred for recreation and people swim in it during the summer. Its really beautiful. Well I got three little guys they were still hanging deep I used a Rappala Rattling deep diving crankbait. Enjoy

1 lb 3 oz

1lb 10 oz

Very nice find, congrats!

There have got to be some other species in there with that rocky bottom. I dont know where your located but that looks like small mouth haven to me. Any pike?

Good luck.

Dang! Thats clear you really will want to use clear line and that looks like you will be able to really catch them there it also looks like a jig and a shaky head would really work well it looks like ALOT of stuff would catch em there.
