Default A Beautiful Morning {Steel}

Well, this was my last morning out for a while. No fish on the gravel, so many guys were upset.I consider myself a "hole fisherman". I picked the right hole and had the best hour of fishing ever. This is my last time out until next Tuesday [:@].

Ended 4 for 5 in an hour. 2 Beauty bucks and 2 tight skien hens.

Sorry about the pictures, didn't have a partner to take my picture!

First henof the morning on a yellow jig with wax worm, 3rd cast.

First buck the following cast. 12+ pound fish.

Another dandy buck. Pink spawn bag.

Last Chrome Hen. All fresh fish today.

WOW...!!! What a morning...I'm envious......

Thanks for sharing..

Water looks fairly clear there...Flies should work...

Not that there is anything wrong with spawn sacks, or tipped jigs or whatever... Good job...!!...

Water is sickly clear. Too clear IMO.

I don't blame anyone for not believing this, but here is a story I'll tell my grand kids. I was using a yellow jig tipped with a wax worm and my third cast I hook-up and catch a fish. Put on another waxie and two more cast and hook-up again. Open the can of waxies and poke around the saw dust, GONE. None left. What is a guy to do?

I float spawn, nothing! I float a stone fly, nothing!

A few guys have an eye on me waiting for me to leave and I need to find something that resembles a wax worm. I take a quick walk in the woods and find a deteriorating limb. Break that thing open and find some soft pieces of white tissue wood. I grabbed about 10 pieces and sized them up like a waxie.

Landed 3 fish with a piece of wood on a yellow jig.

Can you believe it?!?!
