Water temps very cold around here lately. Caught a few 1 pounders the other day. It will be a while before I begin turning anything in for show. Fish are still staging deep. I've been Steelhead fishing to much anyway

We still have alot of ice melting up here, but with all the rain we have been getting it shouldn't be that long now for the ice to go..

went today on the river and got a 30"...... musky [:-] Did not want any part of that thing, I let it swim around the boat for about 5 minutes until it spit my crankbait out - I ALWAYS need the pliars when I forget them. [:@]

I hear that..I caught a 5 pound mudfish and Matt got a gar..no pliars stink..I also won 5.00 today.BIG fish honors..a chunky 2 1/2 pounder won [8D]

I haven't even attempted to catch a bass yet. My smallmouth river has been flooded 3 different times in the last 2 weeks and our temps at night are still getting down around 28-29 degrees. Caught a few crappie in a big lake 2 weeks ago, but then it got cold with all the heavy rain and snow and haven't even gotten another bite since. Hopefully by May things turn around.

And what's funny..our spawn is now just about over..[8D]I can't even image ice on anything..

Our temperature highs are in the 80s..been running the central A.C for the last 2 months..[:-]

I will take the ice any day over those hurricanes and tornadoes.. When ever they get to reach us they are all puffed out..

Well I went out yesterday morning. We caught 21 up to about 3lbs but nothing really worthy of a pic. And hurricanes really arn't that bad in my opinion & we don't get many tornado's.
