I know the middle fish was 11 pounds 5 ounces.
I know the bottom fish was 11 pounds 9 ounces.
The top fish .... I took a guy on Lake Fork in .... 1994 or so, his first day EVER on the lake. First and third cast I boated 6 pound + fish. Seems like I had boated like 14-16 bass by early afternoon. We were hammering them (using 7"-9"live waterdogs, you don'tcatch many small bass, its a big bass type fishing).
Anyway, we were in fairly shallow water, 3-4' and I had made a long pitch to a log in the water. Tap, Tap and I set into her. I knew it was a big fish the way she longpulled side to side, then she came straight to the boat. I was yellingget the net, and reeling faster than thereel was meant to go, and at the boat she bent my 7 1/2 foot rod double. Once to the back, once to the front and I had her in the net.

She was like 28" or29" long,egg filled, bulging eyes ....... I knew she was a helluva fish.
We had an old ruster deliar and it weighted her like 11 1/2 pounds. I had already killed an 11 pound 9 ounce bass andher mounted, and didn't want another fishunder 12 pounds. I had quick landed her, she was in great condition ..... I let her go.
I'vealways looked back and wished I'd taken her to a certified scale. As I look at the pictures, I can't help but wonder is she wasn't in the 12 1/2 pound range.
