Default Let's see where you all fish at..

It's called Saddle Creek Park

Here's whereI will be fishing 80 per cent of the time..It's and old phosphate mine..The water is low so the right side of the road is just for me..There is no ramp available..It's 3'4 of a mile long and .33 wide..goes up to 35 foot deep
Has lots of big bass..biggest caught was 15 pounds..
It's 4 miles from my house..the guys with big boats fish the left side..too much pressure for me..The lake is filled with hydrilla giving great cover to bass ..along with rock bars and islands and dead trees and stumps. The only access is a tiny canel that is too low...been too low for 3 years. I push my 10 foot jon boat off the bank.
Other species..
Sunshine bass
Black Crappie
Channel Cats
Blue Cats
Bullheads
Re earred Sunfish
Red Breasted Sunfish
Green Sunfish
Bluegill
Gar
Grass Carp
Tilapia

Here's an 8.2 caught on a fire tiger crankbait..This is also a birding sanctuary..folks come from all over to view our birds..especially the fall warblers.

Lately, nowhere, middle of the month. Pickwick, Wilson, Gville, new job and new baby has put the hurting on my fishing but that is about over

Those are some nice pics Chuck althoughI do not think I could get used to those gators..
Here is the Grandfalls Flowage on the St. Croix river, Pokey Lake home of some decent size largemouths, Big lake noted for it's smallmouth fishing, as well as Boydens Lake noted for it's largemouth and smallmouth fishing as well. There is plenty more I will be hitting like Baskaheagan Lake a lake that is hard to fish because of it's rocks..

The point sticking out the farthest is a place some large largemouths has been caught in Boydens Lake. The largest I think was threw the ice at 10lbs..

Most have already seen some of my photos before but here is 2 of them.. Grandfalls Flowage and then PokeyLake..

Hey , that place looks really nice! I wouldn't mind swapping you for a week..
Are those Canvas back ducks??
When you fish..do ya see alot of other fishermen.??..
Where I'm at I rarely see another..Now on the other side I may see 10 boats easily..Most bass fisherman are strictly catch and release

Chuck those are a family of Canadian Geese 2 adults with some young ones.. That lake has both Largemouth and Smallmouth bass in it. Up here we will see maybe 4 or 5 boats out on an average day but our water ways will support that and more without much problem.. Some will keep bass up here but it's not for me.. I do not care for them very much so I release most all bass. Once in a whileI will keep one to give to some older folks that like them though that is rarely done. The do have bass tourneys up here though and those days some of the waterways can be crouded though it doesn't happen very often as they keep changing lakes with the tourneys.

Thanks Chuck, I like it because it is hard for anyone to get the permits to build on the waterways up here now. Though I know i would of liked to have a camp on one of them.. It's very peacefull out on these lakes up here.
