t-roy--- I have used one for several years, and really enjoy using them. It' s a little difficult without flippers, and even with them, you have to move backwards. I just bought an inflatable pontoon, and like it MUCH better!

i always wanted one..but im a chicken..just the though of 50+ inch muskies and their teeth is enough for me to stay out...just a blug gill by your toe..fish misses blue gill and bam..you missing toes..i just dont like that idea...even though chances are very slim....and i can bet all my stuff would fall in the lake becuase im clumbsy/have luck like that...i always used to grab my tackle box handle and pick it up and it wasnt latched and bam..all my stuff goes flying...i did that tons of times until converting to a tackle bag last summer...im sure they are great for getting to places others cant go...

I' m not afraid of being eaten but have this visionof flipping over and being stuck upside down. I think you wear waders in them and if you go in with waders on it is very bad. Some lakes in Rhode Island don' t allow them and I am not sure why??
