crawfish for CRAPPIE?

Wouldnt have believed it if I hadnt experienced it. Caught about 3 dozen extremely small crawfish (-1inch) while trying to catch some grass shrimp for fishing last Friday. Man did the crappie tear them up. We caught 19 crappie. 16 caught on crawfish, 1 on a minnow and 2 on grass shrimp. I may have caught on to something here. Anyone else ever use crawfish for crappie?

Ive never used them for crappie but ill have to give it a try!! Sounds like you may have cought on to somthing new for crappie.

I caught a nice sized crapie on a crawfish once.

I usauly use minnows but see no reason why they wouldnt latch onto a small crawdad.
