FLW bass tournament
I was laying in bed this morning about to get up and go to the box and get the paper when I heard a low pitch buzzing come from down at the lake. It was 6:45am and the drone got louder and louder so I knew what it was. About half of the 200 or so boats in the FLWBP Easternseries were on their way north from the Plattsburgh launch site to fish for the fat small mouth bass that are all over the northern islands portion of the big lake. It is pretty wavy today and they probably elected to go north since it is more sheltered. When it is calmer most go south about 70 miles to fish largemouth since they are heavier than the smallies. I might get over to the weigh in if I get back from golfing early enough.

They are porking up and eating crawdads and minnies. The pros shouldn't have a problem boating dozens of fish daily with bags(5 fish)of around 18-20 lbsfor smallies and 20-22 for large mouths.
