FINALLY!

Today is the day...my local smallmoth river has been way to high and muddy ALL year because of the amount of rain we have had, well FINALLY it's good to go, I am heading out and hopefully challenge Josh's smallmouth in the Northern contest. I will update when I get home.

Well it pretty much sucked, me and my friend only caught 20 or so and missed another 10, the biggest was only about 2- 2 1/2 pounds. I think maybe all that rain kept the fish from coming up the creek to spawn, so they just stayed in the main river. We usually catch 50-60 in a 2 mile walk. So, Josh's record is safe.

yeah the fishing has been bad here lately. all it does is rain and flood the mud into the water
