White bass fishing anyone?

Just wondering if anyone out there does any white bass fishing. What is your favorite lure for the job. My favorite is a weighted topwater with a bucktail about 12" behind it. We weight the topwaters so we can through them farther. You have to work the lures quick but the action is awesome.--Good fishin'

we catch em here alot use mostly plain white twister type jigs 2-3 inchers and a saftey pin type spinner super roostertail is my fav.

have not cought a white bass casting lures before. me and my uncle and a friend cought about 25 of them using a weight and then a floating jig about 1.5 feet behind the weight with minnows and leeches. alot of fun, they just hammer em and fight like northerns.

i like catchin them, they put up a good fight. its about time they start running here in ky. ive had the best luck with a 2 1/2" sassy shad w/(?)1/8 oz jighead

i usually throw one road out with a minnow and use some various curly tail jigs and spoons with the other road...they sure are fun...me and my dad found a school last year...we had some fun days on the river bank....i caught a nice smallie and hooked a walleye that was well over 30inches my dad seen it nad i seen its fin break water...but it got off right as i got it to shore..i about cried!! them white bass sure are fun though
