Kayak Fishing

I am new to kayak fishing and admittedly not much of a fisherman to begin with. Any advice ontrolling for trout? My goal is to beat my personal record.......

We like to use a small spinner (trout spinner) and a piece of worm trailing behind it. Use just enough wieght to get it down into the deeper cooler water and drift along.. Good luck and you can use the same thing with a small minnow hook on instead..
