Default What a fun day on the lake with the kids!

Well I scouted out a spot yesterday about a mile back on a public lake. My kids have been catching small bluegill and such the last 3 weeks or so, and for the past couple of years. I told them last night that I found a spot where they will finally catch some bigger fish and possible a big one. We dug up some worms in the backyard and set out in the rain. Both my little ones walked for 25 minutes through the woods and never complained.....was a great day. We caught some bass off and on for 2 hours until my son finally caught the "big one"....he tried his best to reel in the big bass, but I eventually took over after 30 seconds when the bass wrapped himself around a stump...was agreat fight and the kids were screaming and yelling, "daddy catch him!". Here are some pics.
