A 13" crappie is a pretty nice crappie. But you can catch some that are 14-16" some times. ive never got one 16" but i have cought one that was 15" You catch anything else while you were fishin? Im sure you will like the taste of those crappie. they are really good.

I caught a 18' crappie last year, and the film didn' t come out!, pissed me off. Those are all nice crappie, and crappie are great to eat, but bluegill or shellcracker are better. I can' t bring myself to eat many bass because I hate for them to not grow up.
