Default amurs?

my buddy is draining his lake and he has about 10 amurs in it that are about 4 feet long. we want to try to keep some of them alive. what do you think would be thebest way to catch them. We have been trying to snag them but with no luck.

never mind i googled it and it seems sorta like a carp and trick that you should try is find one of the "amurs" in the pond cast a bread ball in his location it willl apear like it has scared him but just give it a second and be ready to set the hook.........thats what we do with carp but not positive it will work with an amur but give it a try.......if they eat anything like a carp you will have all 4 out in not time

Amurs are a special breed of carp that are strictly vegetarian. They are used in ponds here in Ohio to control the weeds. Now some people have caught them on doughballs but it is very rare.
