Default Awesome weekend of RB/Trout fishing

Well me myself riffer and a few of my friends and my sister went to to Bullshead Thurs-Sun.

Friday brought us 11 fish to hand for 4 of us but most were really colorful fish was catching them mostly on Pheasant tails that day. Weather was crappy, windy(as usual) cold, snowing. Not much ice on lake either bit was left on the Golden Pond but got smashed up by the end of the day due to wind, some off to the left of the boat launch and at the very east end by where the creek runs in. Lots of snow out there some really deep snow drifts as well fell up to my waist in snow a few times.

Saturday got there in the morning and lake was frozen over lol no wind overnite and it was pretty chilly over nite so i was able to develop a skiff of ice but melted/broke up by the end of the day. Fishing was alot better as well as the weather, no wind, sunny and 35 fish to hand. Caught them mostly on Prince Nymph and leech patterns. Found stripping them in really slow produced ALOT more hits then just leaving them sit there.

Sunday we only fished for a few hours got 5 fish to hand and one with a really wicked kype.

We all got REALLY sunburnt not thinkin the sun would be out that much we didnt bring sunscreen oopps lol. We camped at Elkwater campsite only people there cause i talked to the guy that runs it and he let us stay there. Seen lots of turkeys too.

I thought maybe the lens fell out fighting a big fish. I guess those turkey would be safe. Cant hunt them in the road. Nice fish. Congrats to all.
