First bass on the open water {pics included}

Finally got home early enough from practice to get some time on the water. Knew the 60 degree temps would boost the fish activity in the shallows and I knew what lure would do it.

Caught about 10 fish all under 1.75 pounds, and seen two fish that would have pushed 5 pounds!

Nice fish both of yall. I have only caught 6 Largemouths in my life, 5 at my buddies pond, and 1 on a bobber with a minnow (who woulda thunk)

Congrats to you both and nice pics thanks for sharing.. I have never fished ponds for bass up here , just lakes and rivers.
Ice is still all over our lakes right now, and the warm water lakes should be breaking up in about a week or so..

Thanks Chuck, those little guys were all I have caught so they deserved a picture, not as fun, but as beautiful as a big one!
