I really will fish for just about anything, it just depends what body of water I'm fishing. While I am at home I fish everything from Smallies to Whitebass to Pike. I do fish a tourney each year on Lake Michigan during the summer where we fish for Trout and Salmon though.
I would really love to get up to Canada again for some fishin', it's been waaay too long.

Austin/Wi- I actually spend most of my time fishing the small border lakes. I also try to fish the Pike and Root river in the fall for trout and salmon.
Yah im mostly a trout/pike/walleye guy ill be doing alot more exploring this year want to try and check off every type of sport fish in alberta off my list, got the majority just a few left.
I was in the river yesterday and not one fish, no minows, bluegill, suckers, nothing, I think the rain and snow melt washed them all the way back to a lake about three miles. if thats the case they should be back anyday now. I then went to one of my ponds and caught a 10 inch bass, no fair though they alway bite.

Ya I thought about fishing the Pike a few times, it runs right in front of my campus (Carthage). If I had more time while I was down here I would try fishing some of those smaller lakes.
