Abu garcia Record reel?

anyone have any experiences with these reels????
was checking them out the other day and they have some refined features over the C3 and C4....i can get one for $130 shipped new.

i have some Abu Garcia, "Royal Express"(basically a c4)reels that are still working fine after 12 years or so.....so i know forthe Record has to have a gooddesign.....i also have a new Revo SX thathasnt been tested yet

i was also thinking about possibly a "Shimano Cardiff 100"....they remind me alot of the older "Shimano Calcutta's" which i have two of for 10 years. they go for about 90-100$

Shimano Cardiff^^^ 4+1 bearings 5.8 retreive around 8.5 ounces.....like the lighter weight and the 5.8 retrieve also the reel has a smaller footprint(more comfortable to palm) im just leary of a cheaper Shimano.

sorry for my constant poor typing and punctuation and spelling and runon sentances all the time im in a hurry and i have fishing fever and the only cure for that fever is more cowbell

I have the smallest of the record line and it casts like a dream. I will be buying the next size up as well.

I have to add that I have pretty big hands so a larger reel size is a plus for me.
