Default Good day

Well, I decided to go fishing today,b ut the wind decided to let me knowI was going to a pond and not the lake. I get to the pond and start out bumping a jig with no luck. ThenI changed to a fluke andI get slammed by a 3 lb fish, it sure felt good to land the first bass of the year. Shortly there after the fluke provided me with 3 more dinks up to a pund and a surprise crappie. I missed another 3 fish and decided to go back to the jig. On the second cast I fell that familiar pickup and set the hook. The fish spits the jig back at me right at the dock, but it was anothr solid 3 lb fish. I just love that tick that you feel when you get a bite on a jig, there isnt another thing like it. Total for today: 1 3lb 3 1lb and less all on the fluke with a crappie added to that. Then one 3 lb fish lost at the dock on the jig. It was a good day and the fish bit good. I had a lot of company with me there today and 16 fish were caught in 2 hours out of an acre sized pond. My buddy is going with me to the farm pond tomorrow to try our luck for some big ones. The way they fed today they should feed good tomorrow at the bigger place on the same bait: a zoom fluke.
Good luck to yall and tight lines,
Brent
