Well guys, I had a night that was above most. After a stressful last week of my freshman year of college before christmas break, I felt I needed a little ice fishin' action. My buddy and I worked until one and called 'er quits so we could hit the ice. We got to his house and loaded up the portable and set off. A little slushy on the way out be we made her accross the channel on the snowmobile and set up about 100 yards from a small island called "cigar". We drilled 8 holes, dropped the marcum lx5 in the fist one, and found a huge school, NICE! We started fishing at exactly 2pm and by 2:30 had 20 crappies 9-13" through the hole, all realeased, DOUBLE NICE. We fished for 4 hours, and caught a total of 90, yes 90 crappies...we kept count. We kept 20 (2limits), what a great afternoon of fishing. Going to fry some up this sunday for a family christmas party.
The only down side is that my nextel cell phone found a new home in the bottom of the lake[:@], I'll get over it...my girlfriend won't[8D]
