Hybrid if your fishing clear water and line visibility affects the fish. IN any type of a murky water, Power Pro will out preform anything else as far as i am concerned. I have transfered Chuck7 to using it, I think he agrees with me.

i had a spool of it and lost it before i could spool it on. but so far i like the trilene and other berkely lines. i think the fireline is alright i caught a good number of fish on it but not anywhere as much as i would normally catch

Though braided line does have advantages it is not an all around line. I have 1 rod for flipping, pitching, and deep water spooled with braided line but the rest is berkley trilene. I for one like the sport of using a light line... not a light line diameter with a crazy breaking strength. I find it a lot more sporting.

yo zuri hybrid.. I have gone 2 years without respooling. 12 lb line, break strength tested 16.2 lbs when new, 2 years later, and its testing 16.2 still. And I fish at least 2 - 3 times a week.

For any of you newer fisherman... this is the opinion you can take to the bank.
