Good luck to you. Im large mouth fishing saturday, gonna try to get some rainbows and landlocks sunday then bear hunting during the week. Gotta love vacation.

mani would love to be where you are lol i want to hunt bear sometime but i wont be able to until i do it on my own im 14 ha ha

Even when it is hot out fishing deep is not always the best answer. I have caught many of big bass in 3-5 feet of water in 95 degrees of weather. My advice to you as a bank fisherman is look for land contour changes above water because a lot of times they are the same underwater. Steeply sloping shorline indicates an area that will drop off quicker allowing bass quick access to shallow and deep areas.

i agree i fish a small pond from shore and i almost always get the biggest ones(2 1/2-7lbers) up in very shallow water as they cruise along hunting for sunfish.but then it really doesn't always get that hot up here in Minnesota as it does farther south
