Default My brother Aaron's first pike

My good good friend Aaron caught his first Lake Ontario pike yesterday. I wanted to share it with ya all. it was caught on a dollar spinner bait from wally world with a mister twister trailer he was using 12 lbs line. Id say he got lucky he wasnt using a steel leader. He normally fishes for bass so this pike Im sure was a surprise.

Congrats to him I find it's not as neccesary to use leaders when you're using spinnerbaits for snakes because it takes a BIG snake to swallow one of those

Hey there!!! When I'm in Canada fishing for walleye and northerns I only use a jighead and a real big nightcrawler and yes I've brought in some real big beauties also. I also don't use wire leaders unless I'm trolling then I put 1 on and use a real large rapala or a crankbait. But hey thats a real dandy of a northern there. Congrats to your brother.
