Default Colors?

well i no that the darker the water the darker you want your worm to be....and i got told that they are hitting spinner baits at the moment so i am going to try the one i have tomorrow.....so i got to thinkin.....for everything in the fishing tackle....worms,spinners,buzz baits, topwater, jerkbaits, and tube lures...does it follow the " darker the water the darker your lure" motto? i mean it kinda makes sense but do you have greater success if you choose the perfect color....a friend of mine used a yellow spinner to catch a 5lb bass earlier in VERY murkey water so if he would have used a black one would he have gotten a bigger one? please straighten this out for me thanks

When fishing with spinners I like to use silver blades in dark water and copper colored blades in clear water..

ill put it to you this way if you were a fish and the water is murky would you want the lure to have to fall in front of your face or stand out like a real minner would
