Default Just bought a Rapala Jointed Shad Rap and a Stike King chatterbait....

Im pretty stoked to get out and try them. Any pointers on how to use the chatterbait?

i don't have either but i have heard the best presntation with the chatterbait is sloooooow

chatterbaits aren't that great i think i have like 4-6 of them and i have only caughtna few fish

I love the chatterbait. It is something newer that the bass haven't seen flung past them 1 million times. (worms don't count though because bass seem dumb to them)

I watched a father and son once catch over 30 bass right in front of me on a chatter bait. I bought one..same color and all and have not caught one yet. Therefore, I know they work but not for me.

For me, you just can't beat a rubber worm. I/ve only had one bite on the jointed Rapala...but it was a fish of a life time.[:@]...and it was this year. That was the last time I used the improved clinch knot. I will never use that knot again. I still try both lures occasionally ..but I bump a worm 60% of the time and crank the rest.
