hey buddy , I really do have some questions. I know your favorite lure is the jig. The questions that are top secret you can PM me the asnswers..

1. What is your favorite jig?..name brand

2, I'll be fishing in normal hydrilla to no weeds at all. What is your favorite weight size for this situation?

3, Do you prefer to use a trailor pork rind , rubber grub or fish the jig as is from the pack?

4. What's your favorite color?

5, Do you like the rattle jigs?

Because of your suggestion I went and bought alot last year. I've tried them about 30 minutes so far this year..as is from pack no trailor..I had 2 fast pick ups that let go immediitately.

2, I'll be fishing in normal hydrilla to no weeds at all. What is your favorite weight size for this situation? if the grass is matted out on top i'll fish as heavy as a 1oz. to "bust thru" the deeper grass, i also try to drop it of in any holes i find in the mat, if the grass is just starting to grow (say the grass is 2-3' tall in 6-8' of water) i'll throw a 7/16 or a 1/2 oz.

3, Do you prefer to use a trailor pork rind , rubber grub or fish the jig as is from the pack? yes i always use a trailer, dead of winter and cold water (50 deg and less) i like pork, after that i switch to zoom superchunk

4. What's your favorite color? i love black and blue, and it seems to work anywhere, but the last couple of years i have become very fond of green pumpkin, i think it favors a crawfish colors pretty well during the molting process, don't know why that would help, unless if it has to do with the mudbugs having a softer shell????[&:]

5, Do you like the rattle jigs? i will use them whenthe water is dingy, i have used both but can't prove that a rattle catches anymore fish than W/O

but my favorite thing to do is flip and pitch a 1/2oz. or so jig around visible cover, boat docks, standing timber, buckbrush and the likes, gets the ole thumper goin if you know what i mean[:-]

one other thing big baits catch big fish, that dosne't mean a little bait can't catch a big one, but when you start fishing a 1/2 jig with a 101 uncle josh pork trailer or a zoom super chunk, most times the fish are going to be bigger fish, and you just won't catch very many 1 to 1 1/2# fish, for me they useally catch 3# and up, but you may also get fewer bites, but the quality of those bites is what i'm looking for

try some of the new colors with a double tal blue grub. its great. use the boo yah chartreuse,brown and black jig. and some with purple and use some colors like the lighter green and reds. but presentation is just about the most important part

trick of the trade add a lizard tail or baby brush hog tail to the jig works great also on those hot summer days dont be afraid to throw it right on the bank and swim it a lil bit and then let it drop

i like to mix color together like red,blue, black, and purple in a hollow body crawfish set up on a jig. it always gets the biggun's
