I actuallt messed up a post but instead of just deleting I'd thought I'd just leave it open to express how the fishing was and are you ready to get back to work tomorrow..

Actually I was very upset Friday. With todays population of kids I try to demonstate to my students how I work through my problems. So, I told them this. I said, "I am very upset. The prinicipal wants to put the worse kid in 5th grade in my classroom Monday and Tuesday for his time-out. I feel taken advantage of." For the student who can give me some good advice I'll give you a pack of peanut butter crackers." One little third grader said, "Mr. Borden , why don't you read your Bible during lunch time." I said ," Great idea, get your crackers." Another girl said,"Why not just think about all those fish you will be catching on Sat." Aren't kids great.She got crackers too. Actually I ended up going to the prinipal and dealing wiht it."He said ,"If the boy is bad we will just send him home."

Twelve more days my friend...and school will be out.

years 2-4 shop teacher..for Special ed..wood working / agriculture
year 5 Adjudicated Youth...very scary..working with inner city gangs.
years 6-10 Specail Educaton ...
years 11- 17 and present ...3rd grade regular education

My secret my friend is knowing the Lord. I'll make it real simple John. In a genuine relationship with God,love will grow in your heart. The love from God cast out all fear, never fails, and is what folks are really looking for. This kind of love only comes from God .Therfore I must abife in Him. See the entire chapter of John 15 and 1 John 4 for more clarification. 1 Cor. 13 defines love real good and simple. love is patient and kindness.

Sounds like you handled your situation well, Chuck.

It's has been a rough week and 1/2 here. I have been quite busy at work with an annual outage going on. We just ended it today and our crew got the place up and running again at 11:00 am this morning. I will be working another 3 days and will have 3 off after that. Some new things were put in so that they can make plans to lay-off 4 employees on the machine I work on. It will not affect me but, it is still hard to see. Anyways if all goes well I will get a chance to take my small canoe 14'7" into a fishing spot I want to hit. I will be taking it into the woods about 1 mile or so just to get to the stream. But, with a lot of luck I might haul one of those haug brookies out.

Good luck Phil...I've never caught a brook trout and have only eatten them once...they are about as good as it gets.
