One thing I like to do when fishing for bass is to take along a few jigheads and a couple of rubber crawdads. I also like to bring some mud or rocks in a bucket ( depending on the bottom that I am fishing on ) I like to put some mud or a few rocks down first to stir the bottom up a little. Then drop that rubber jichead down and bownce that crawdad on the bottom and hang on as one is usually ready to strike. That trick has worked pretty good for me. Good luck.
i got a chest pack i use for flyfishing and put the following items in there:
variety of hooks and weights
green pumpkin senkos
junebug 7 1/2 ribbontail worm
grubs from 1.5-3 inches
3-4 jigs black/blue
2 spinnerbaits, one tandem, one colorado blade.
buzzbait
shad rap-don't EVER leave home without a shadrap
rattle trap
spook
also some needle nose pliers.
small ruler
with that i can catch jsut about anything and it's always in my truck, o ya i'll keep some extra string jsut in case.
Top compartment.. minus ones.. rattle traps....fire tiger divers...
To the left a hiddle compartment..about 18 weedless spinner baits and chatter baits..
a compartment for 3 plastic boxes Box 1 bobbers, Box 2 Crappie jigs and panfish hooks Box worm hooks and bullet sinkers
Big hidden compartment.. Extra trolling motor prop 2 scales digital camera Wire cutters. flag tape compass and whistle head lamp mosquito repellent extra plug chain stringer Game boy and 4 games...I baby sit my 16 year old..
3 more drawers..
Drawer one..Top water and jerk baits...lots..and bass jigs
Drawer two..Worms , Little George lures and Rooster Tails
Drawer 3 ..Extra Power Pro...4 extra reel spinning spools more diving crank baits, Rooster tails and large worms. PS I've added much more...I have a second box I keep as a storage box for extras.
I always have 2 soft tackle boxes, 1 hard tackle box, and a huge dufflle bag full of all my soft plastics on my boat. Way to many things to name. But that is what I always have with me. I never go unprepared. If the fish want something I can almost guarentee that I have it somewhere on the boat. Being able to find it is a different story.

I use live bait more than anything, so i havegood assortment of Diachi hooks for free lining, in both gold and red in assorted sizes for each. Got some bobbers and bottom fishing stuf too. Other than that. I keep a staple of five or six different rapalas, some prop baits for topwater, a couple of Zara Spooks. A bunch of spinnerbaits and still have a few Inline spinners (will be getting more- Thanks Chuck!). A small assortment of soft plastics. Extra line (Black Widow, this stuff rocks!- 6, 8, & 10lb). I carry about a dozen nail clippers and a couple pairs each of scissors and pliers. I got a measuring tape and an extra pair of Shades. Thats about all I bring with me...for tackle. I have my rod holder bucket and some bait, and we're fishin!!
