Do any of you have this reel? I just purchased one over the phone from Bass Pro. They had a great deal going. I have looked at them at the store but kept putting it off. I have a few other high end bait casting reels but I don't know anyone that has this one. So I haven't heard much else about it.
i have owned 2 quantam reels a 1310mg and one i believe called "iron" both were great reels, but i am stuck on abu-garcia stuff (45&4600 series)
i guess you could say i'm "old school" no fancy brakes or magnets and only a few bearings, but i can always fix them myself and have always been able to get parts
BTW that is a good looking reel, give us some feedback, most quantam stuff i have seen has been very good quality and reliability

I don't have that particuliar model but I do have 3 Quantum Baitcasters...no complaint here either..With MUCH use they are still tight aa a drum and I've had no repairs on them at all. I clean my own. I've had teh fewest backlashed with them..They seem to know when to slow down afterr the lure hits the water. My Pinnacle is still learning to slow down after the lure hits...seems to have a mind of her own.LOL
I just got my tracking number in an email from BPS. Scheduled to be delivered to my office on Friday. I can't wait. I rarely purchase anything for myself since I have 2 daughters so this is a big present to myself!!!!
