Went out on the Black Log Creek in Huntingdon County. Caught about 20, kept 4. No real big ones but had a great time with the guys.

Fished Kettle Creekupstream of Cross Fork...The fish and fishermen were concentrated in a few holes, so it was crowded...

I managed to get into a good spot and caught LOTS of stocked rainbows( and 1 brown) on a #14 olive hare's ear bead head nymph....My partner caught a pretty palimino about 2 pounds...We released all of our fish... Fun time...

Struggled this year....we usually land around 20 at twin lakes park in westmoreland Co. but i only caught 3.....all fish i saw caught were around 15 inches tho so it was ok i guess....managed to catch 2 at a local municipal pond before the pens game yesterday....needs to get a little nicer to hit the streams....

That's great. I had to work Saturday but I'll get up there this weekend.
I've always done well w/ #14 pheasant tail bead heads in that same stretch.

I didnt make it out on the 14th but Trout started 2 weeks early where i live so ive caught plenty already. Ive caught close to 100 trout already this year. I dont think most people around here realized the season opend early. There werent many people on the streams.
