Default Crappie Rigs

I can catch crappie but not like I see some guys catch them. What are some good rigs for catching crappie in good numbers. My most affective way is useing a road runner. Your help is going to be put to good use.

My favorite kind of pan fishing is crappie. i generally get my limit by doing the following.
A. Find water between 6 and 10 feet deep around .

B. I fish the bobber about 1 foot off the bottom. I use minnows and put the hook through both lips.

c. I fish 4 rods..My troling motor is in the front. I face the back and have 2 pole stickin gout the back of my 10 foot jon and 2 on the side.

D. I fish about 3 fet from the edge...I act like i'm cutting the yard. I go in circles till I reach the center. I have 3 pitsI fish like that..Takes about 5 hours. If I get bites I anchor till they stop.

E. If bites are slow...I fish the back 2 poles without bobbers. You will get twice as many bites without bobbers but you tend to lose more as well.

F, If I must use lures..I use a hal fly. red head jig with a clear/ white rubber body..gold hook.

I get my limit about every time. I buy a 1/4 pound of minnows each tiem..4.50

Plastic tube baits with skirts. Red and white twotone seems like the favorite usually. Fish it with slip bobbers, adjusting depth till its working good. Cast out and reel in at a slow retrieve. They usually hit softly taking the bait and pulling your bobber sideways. I have a wide assortment of colors that I try when it is slow. This method almost always outcatches minnows by as much as 10 to 1
