Default First trip of the year

A friend and I take several float trips a year to one of the local rivers, and today was our first for this year. It was a good day, bluebird day, high pressure and cold water, so it was tough. The fish were all deep. If you weren't in at least 10' of water we just motored on through, didn't even cast. They just weren't there. But, I managed some nice fish anyway, all on a centipede. Good gosh I hate finesse fishing...Anyway, my best was a 2 3/4 lb largemouth, but I caught quite a few smallies in the 14" range. All in all a good day, I think the 2 of us caught a combined 50 or so...

That's classified information, I'll need to see your clearance tag please.... Sorry dude, I don't ever divulge my public spots. Nothing personal, I just don't do it.
