Question for all you fisherman

Do you love God..I may end up hooking up with you one day and that is the only criteria..I know this ain;'t the religious site butI gotta know .Do you love the one who died for your sins? That is not a ...do ya go to church question.Shoot some of you may end up in my house and I gotta know which best discibes you.

1. Yes Chuck, I know God and I strive to please him with all my heart.

2.Chuck..I don't know God..I wish I did but I don't want to go to Hell please pray for me..I'm lost.

3. Chuck. I 'm a casual church goer but I have no real relationship with Christ..please pray for me..I'd love to know God like Peter and the other disciples. I sin habitually and wish I could stop.

4. Chuck , I really don't believe in that Christian stuff at all and am really quite offended at your post.

5. I'm my own boss , I need no crutch..You Christains are fools.

I would like to answer this but, I would have to choose number 6. As I was born a Methodist and went to church in my younger years. As life went on I changed to other churches and none seemed to work for me. I believe very much in the great creator (sp) that I choose to call God. I am not a very religious person but, I consider myself to be very spiritual. As I know God workswith me and others as well,whenI am fishing or hunting or whatever I am doing, I feel God is with me. WhenI am fishing along a quite stream or out on the lake I know it is a gift from God that allowed me that right, and I try to make it a point to thank him for it. Whether I catch a fish or not is unimportant to me as it is great to be able to enjoy what God allowed me to enjoy. If i was to catch something that is just a bonus to end a great day in the great outdoors.

Thanks for the replies...like I said ..absolutely no pressure. I hate pushy salesmanand pressure too.

Another reason I made a thread like this is because a couple of years ago I lost a fellow associate who committed suicide. I just wanted all of you { My fellow associates } to know that some of us are here if you are ever that low. then please PM, and from there you can call me or anyone else who is available. I've talked with MT on the phone. He is awesome.

Today...a good church is like finding an honest mechanic...nearly impossible. So I couldn't reccomend you a church if I had too. Howeverl I can reccomend a great book...the Bible. Here is an online Bible with many different versions.
