Hey , the moon is heading toward the full moon. This weekend should start picking up ..by the middle of next week it should be best. Next week I'll start flipping and pitching after school...

Here's my plan...I callled Matt my oldest. He's goneto be drifting 3 crappie rods tipped with minnows and I'm going ot be in front of teh boat pitching plastics on the shoreline looking for big mama bass. Should also be some good quality time talking about the real world..God Matt and I have good times together.

He's on his own now and needs food for the freezer. I hope we get our limit of 20 ..Crappie have to be 10 inches or longer here.

For my Florida freinds..we will be in Lake 5 of Tenoroc...fishing in some secret honey holes.

Hey...the moon was on and next week should be better. I missed alot of fish as I"m not too good on the worming. They would only hit worms. I tried weedless spinner baits, diving crank baits and Rooster tails. They hit any color.worm. There were 2 other boats in tehre catching bass as well on a salt and pepper lizard and black crayfish.There was a 5 boat limit on this particuliar lake with trolling motor only. When we found hydrilla..we found fish. I alfeady got my reservaton for tomorrow.

I used a Zoom Red shad 7 " worm

When / if I get 2 fish over the 4.4 fish I will delete the bloody fish. I feel real bad about that picture.

don't beat yourself up too bad it happens, BTW best thing i've heard is get them back in the water quickly

m.t.'s right nothing you can do about it. I have seen fish hit by turbens off some of the power dams here that have been caught with nicks on there heads. They lived to bite again. Also claw marks from birds of prey as well as big chunks out of their backs from turtles so who knows? The at fish could of made it alright as some are tougher than most think as long as it was returned quickly and the air bladder didn't expand. Good luck and keep on fishing.

Cold temps came along with the wind....fish slowed down big time.
We got 5 in the boat but nothing over 2 pounds.
