Fishing in Canada

Can someone tell me what it might cost to fish for pike/musky/walleye in Alberta? Here's the scenario I am thinking about:

I live in Montana (pretty much below Alberta), and would like to make a 3-4 day trip to southern Alberta for some different fishing. Can I buy a license, rent a boat and pretty much go on my own/buddies etc., or do you have to have a guide?

It tells you all the rules and regs but im not too sure on the whole purchasing a license thing, but i can find out for yah and get back to you, oh and by the way, hate to burst your bubble but there are no Musky here in Alberta, but if you need some advice on some good places to go fishing, just let me know and i can point you in the direction of good fishing.

But i will try and find out some more info on the whole license situation.
