I'm new to bass fishing and i'm wanting to buy a boat. I have had many boats back home in new zealand, just not bass ones. i don't want anything to big nor to expensive as i have a 4cyl truck..i was thinking about a bass tracker pro team170tx, with a 50hp....sound good

I have a 1989 Bass Tracker Pro 17 that is still running well. You should be very happy with the boat you mentioned. If you are patient there are lots of good deals on used boats out there. If you wait until too close to fishing season the prices will go up temporarily as the impulse buyers decide they need to go fishing. Then, in the fall, prices will fall again. Right now should be a good time to find a deal.
Good luck.

talk to your local bass pros not the store actual pros. Usually they have to sell their boats every couple years. My buddy is sponsored by nitro (tracker boats make nitro) he has to sell his 2 yr old 929 cdx and get a new one. It is has a 250 hp Mercury Verado on it, and very well taken care of, and he is selling it for 15,000 cheaper than what he bought it for.
