How to build a good spear shack?

I was wondering on how to make a good spearfishing dark house? I tried searching on google but to no avail! What do I need and does anyone have any good plans they could shoot me? Thanks!

Well how much do you want to spend and can you weld aluminum. I can shoot you a drawing of mine. I went 4'x5' makes it small enough to move easy yet roomy enough. Builtframeout of 2''x2''aluminum welded together, insulated with 2'' foam and sheeted with aluminum riveted on but welded all seams. On the inside I used thinplastic paneling and used the cheap spray on truck bed liner more durable then paint. I built it to last for ever it cost more but you never have to worry about it rotting or getting moldy.

Well I want it to last forever and Price doesn't bother me to much! I cant weld aluminum but my dad can, so thats no problem! how much did you spend on it?

If money isnt a problem, just go buy one. Ice Castle and 5 star build them for about $2500 on wheels. Go pick one out and write a check its as easy as that.

I already have a 7'x14' fish house that drops to the ice, i was looking more along the lines of a small portable thats light and very dark, specificly for spearing. Thanks anyway.

We have a 4x6 spear house with a 2x3 hole in it. Just build one. Built mine in 4 hours.
