Default Ice for Northern States

I live in Mid-Michigan and usually get out on the lakes the day after Christmas. This year, I will be lucky to get on 1/2 way through January. It's sad, I won't be able to hunt over my Christmas Vacation. Anyone up here have ice?

Nothing yet in Vermont and I was fishing for the past 2 weeks last year. looks like the shallow ponds are starting to catch and whe weather is getting colder so it should be safe in a week or so unless we get another blast of warm air and rain.

There is some VERY thin ice here in MN, but nothing you would catch me on. Some idiot already put his truck in the lake over this past weekend. You do see some people walking and a few houses out right now.

Still nothing here, but, it has been cold for the las couple of days so hopefully in a couple more I could try a couple of the smaller lakes for a trout or 2.
