I was given a BAYLINER jet ski BOAT, holds 2 people safely, skims at about 40 MPH. It's only 14' long with a 90 hp Merc and weighs 750lbs. Put some high seats on it and a hand operated trolling motor on the front and now it's a BASS BOAT. Spray painted a camo pattern on it and then made it into a duck hunting boat. I've used it for deer hunting, bass fishing and duck hunting........not bad for free.

what I don't understand is why they don't go out in the middle of the lake. I guess that they just want to show off. I'm sure if I had one I'd be just as good at it as they are so I don't see why they are so proud.

Yea, I hate jetskiers! They are notorious for ruining the fishing on Lake Lanier GA

We have 3 things in the lakes here that prevent jet skiier's - 200 lbs alligator gar, 12' long alligators, and standing trees everywhere

I don't even think I'd dare go anywhere near that water.

I love jet skiers. they keep me from getting bored when fishing is slow. I can hit them at 50 yards with my sling shot and marbles no matter how fast they are going.

There is only one lake in Maryland where gas motors are allowed so I don't have the problem when fishing reservoirs. Now the Potomac....well, that's another story.
