Default My new ranger

Here is my new Ranger 620I got in April. It is 20' with a 225 Opti max and a 9.9 prokicker 4 stroke. I have 40 hours on the optimax already, thats not counting the kicker or trolling moter. I realy like it, I have had it up to 60 mph.

Very nice ride. I have been thinking of the multispecies for my next boat. Pretty much will do everything the bass boat does and gives you some flexibility for other fish like walleyes in addition to more hull. Congrats I think you made a great choice.

Thanks, It is hooked up to my 99 F150 4x4. I only get about 10mpg pulling it though. My dads F250 with the 7.3L dissle pulles it great (I want one) may be for my next truck, but that wont be for a while for obviouse reasons. I wanted a boat that would handle lake Michigan salmon and still fish bass on all inland lakes with a decent ramp. The 20' is actually wider than the 21'. All of the water is behind the driver on plane. It is probably the dryest open bow boat I have been on. My dad has a 19' and mine does a much better job keeping the splash away from you.

I'm on Lake Champlain and could use the bigger dryer hull that the 6 series provides. That is one of the boats I have been considering and it is nice to hear actual reports of handling in rough water. No problem towing for me because mine sits 4' above the water in a lift. Ranger rocks!
