I just heard from an outfitter friend in Alaska. He has just had 2 cancellations for a six day fishing trip at the lodge leaving August 2nd from Anchorage. He is offering these trips for $2500 each, which is about 1/2 price. This is the lodge where we easily caught 50 silver salmon a day on fly rods. The trip includes air transportation from Anchorage to the lodge and back. You must pay for your transportation to Anchorage. He flies you to a different location each day.
