I'm going fishing tomorrow to a small lake that is stocked twice weekly. It's pretty popular, which is why they stock it so often. Anyways, my favorite bait to use is hot dogs. I've caught hundreds of fish on hot dogs and it's primarily what I use for catfish, and even one really nice trout. I'm gonna use them and some chicken livers flavored in garlic over night.

Does anyone else use hot dogs as bait? How are your successes with it?

And any suggestions for tieing/presentation for cats? I've caught all fish on trial and error, so any "pro" tips would be helpful

Yes sir, I was introduced to using hotdogs in Pennsylvania.{ Back in1965]I caught creek chubs[ Horny heads]and bluegills on them. I've also caught bluegills on floating cigerette butt filters when I used to smoke and ran out of bait.
